    PuertoRico: This large island is surrounded by a few smallislands with their own Spanish beauty, stamping their presence as The SpanishVirgin Islands.  Before you start sailing, don’t forget to visit breathtakingcastles embodying the rich Spanish cultural history.  They are locatedin old downtown San Juan and are a 15-min. drive from San Juan InternationalAirport.  On all the islands the main language is Spanish, but communicationin English is not a problem.  Polishing your Spanish before startingto sail is a good idea.  While you are here, enjoy a local delight,coconut ice-cream, especially on a hot sunny day. 

    Sail to Culebra, a small island inhabited with friendly people. Discover the five spectacular white beaches on this seven-mile-long bythree-mile-wide island.  Anchor in Ensenada Honda or Endenada SunBay at Vieques.  Enjoy diving near this island, which is dotted withprotected bays and is part of the over 200 spectacular dive sites in TheSpanish Virgin Islands. 

    Enjoy water sports like windsurfing, kayaking or snorkeling here. You can rent all equipment in Puerto Rico.  And the prices are verymoderate too.  The shops are located right at the Puerto Del Ray Marina. If you are interested in diving in the SVI waters, there are dive shopsto rent equipment from such as the Villa Marina, Caribbean Divers Instituteand Sea Venture.
